| The insurance cover is valid from door
to door since the cargo is delivered at shippers’ warehouse
at origin for being transported immediately till receiver’s
warehouse at destination, covering the transit and intermediate
warehouses.
The cargo insurance covers the cargo in transit correctly
packed and cleared for its international transport. The
insurance covers all risk except:
- wars or similars
- strikes
- confiscation or other interventions by the authorities
- financial looses
All kinds of products can be insured except bulk cargos,
jewelry, arms, precious metals amongst others.
As for perishable goods, are also subject to the above mentioned
risks, but may also be subject to risks related to an specific
required temperature control. In this case the required
specifications and instructions referred to the temperature
needed must be mentioned in the shipment document.
The insurance cover is easy to get as the policy can be
issued immediately by us without previous athorization requirements.
